"All licensed providers and their immediate family have been invited to jin in the celebration and meal. Because PROVIDERS FOR KIDS feels each provider is very special for the work they do they will receive special honor certificate from Rep. Gene Pelowski, kids can do crafts with Claudia Johnson, providers will have a chance to win lots of door prizes donated by local merchants and other special events are planned." Governor Jesse Ventura has proclaimed May 10, 2002 Provider Appreciation Day

Providers For Kids will celebrate Provider Appreciation Day on Weds, May 8, 2002 from 6-8 PM at the Elks in Goodview. All child care providers and their families are welcome. Kim Jascola 507.452.8856

The Lakes Area Professional Child Care Association will hold a social for its providers on Friday, May 10 at Old Broadway in Alexandria. At that event, the Provider of the Year will be announced.
