The Midwest WholeChild Development Group® mailed letters of recognition to the almost 1,500 Early Education Professionals who work and live in Johnson and Miami Counties. The letters of recognition included gift certificates and an invitation to a reception held on May 12, 2003. They raised public awareness of the importance of early education professionals by gathering proclamations from 8 of the mayors and public officials in their area. In addition, they launched their new magazine, WholeChild Developments, and dedicated the inside cover to Provider Appreciation Day. We would like to thank Cathy Boyer-Shesol, Associate Director, for sharing all of their news with us and for her dedication to the early childhood workforce of Kansas! Visit www.mwdg.org
