Governor Ruth Ann Minner and Lieutenant Governor, John C. Carney, Jr. have proclaimed May 9, 2003 Provider Appreciation Day in Delaware and urge all Delawareans to recognize the commitment and importance of childcare Providers to the quality of life in the First State.

The Delaware Association of Family Child Care Providers again had a celebration event in 2003. Providers received official Appreciation Day certificates

DAFCCP Delaware Association of Family Child Care Providers, are sponsoring a Luncheon for Support Group Leaders on May 11, 2002, in Dover, at the Golden Coral. We have also asked the Support Group leaders to sponsor at least one of it members, and ask the member to sponsor another provider. We hope to have a nice turnout.
