South Highland Child Development Center, Birmingham, AL: We will be celebrating provider appreciation day for the first time this year on May 7, 2004. We have ordered pins for the teachers as well as certificates. We have also ordered a banner that will hang during that whole week. We will purchase lunch for the staff and I will raffle off gifts during the week. We will provide butcher paper and place on wall near each classroom so parents can write why their child´s teacher is so important to them. Some of our board members will come to the center pass out certificates and shake hands and meet the teachers. For information, contact Wilma Smith at: wsmith@shpcbhm.org.
