OR: Last year Child Care Information Service held our 8th annual provider appreciation event at the Grand Phoenix Hotel conference center. The event kicked off with a wonderful training on Diversity by Johnny Lake. After the training provider were given an hour to relax, visit and network with other provider during the social hour prior to delicious dinner and entertainment. Thanks to the business and community support we were also able to give away wonderful door prizes, provide each provider with a lovely long stemmed rose and a copy of the proclamation. We also hung a banner and ran ads on KYKN announcing the special day and encouraging parents to remember their providers on appreciation day!
This year, 2009, CCIS we are inviting providers to join us for the 9th annual provider appreciation celebration at the Oregon Garden Resort where they will have another opportunity to attend a great training at no cost to them, enjoy a tour of the garden during the social hour, and enjoy a delicious dinner over entertainment! We are very exited and look forward to showing providers a fabulous time! This year each provider will be given a very special gift in addition to the door prizes.
